Public Input

The Waterfront Revitalization Strategy will not be possible without the support and input of residents and business owners in the community. As such, a series of public input sessions are planned throughout the project schedule.

The first public input meeting was held on February 18, 2010 at the Knights of Columbus hall. This meeting drew a very large turnout and many great ideas were discussed.

If you were unable to attend the meeting, or have thought of new ideas since then, please feel free to leave comments below. If you have ideas for a specific project area, you may also comment on the project area pages, linked below:

Downtown/Waterfront

Temple Fields/Village Garage

Bain Park/Former Landfill

One Response to Public Input

  1. Charles Ferry says:

Historic style LED lighting to illuminate the pedestrian walkways in Mesier Park. This would improve walk-ability in the winter when it gets’s dark at 5pm. It also creates a place for a safe evening stroll, particularly in the winter months. The lighted paths would be more appropriate than the current telephone poles with street lights used to illuminate some sections of historic Mesier Park.

    Thanks.
